Praying God's Word for Your Children

Father in the name of Jesus, I confess with my mouth, through faith in Your Word, that my children (name them) are taught of You and great is their peace and undisturbed composure.  I thank You that my children obey us, their parents, for this is right.  They honor their father and mother, and as you have promised, it is well with them and they will live long on the earth.  I confess that we, as their parents, do not provoke our children to wrath, but we bring them up in the nurture and admonition of You our Lord, and our children will not be discouraged.

We teach Your Word diligently unto our children.  We talk of it when we sit in our house, and when we walk by the way, and when we lie down, and when we rise up.  We chasten our children while there is hope.

Father, I thank You that You said You have poured Your Spirit upon my seed, and Your blessing upon my offspring.  I believe that all my children will make Jesus the Lord of their Lives, because You said if I believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, I will be saved and my house.

I believe Your Word is true, and I will not worry or fear if it doesn't look like these things are true in my children's lives now, because I walk by faith, and not by sight.  I cast the care of my children's wellbeing, spirit, soul, and body, over on You, Father, for You care for me.  I will not stagger at Your promises through unbelief, but I will be strong n faith, giving You glory.  I am fully persuaded that what You have promised, You are able to perform, and You are doing it now for me!  Thank You, Father.  Amen
