Kathy and I took a trip to Fort Worth, Texas where Kathy was attending a women's meeting at Eagle Mountain Church. We arrived at Burbank airport, found our plane and settled in for our flight. I am the kind of guy who gets in his seat, buckles up and minds his own business. Kathy, on the other hand, has to assist the flight attendant and help everyone coming on board.
During the flight, Kathy began to talk to the lady sitting next to us. She told Kathy that she was on her way to see her son for their last Mother's Day together. He was in the last stages of cancer and was not expected to live much longer. I heard Kathy begin to tell her what God's Word said. The next thing I know, Kathy is asking me if I have a cloth handkerchief. I did not, so she asked the flight attendant for a cloth napkin. No one had anything of cloth. I asked Kathy what in the world she was doing? She said she wanted me to pray and anoint a cloth for the lady and told me why. Well, it ended up with Kathy getting an American Airlines blanket. The flight attendant stayed around to see this. Kathy told her what we wanted it for.
I prayed for the blanket and gave it to the lady. Boy was she Happy!!! We returned home a few days later and the lady was on the return flight with us. She hugged me and said " whatever you're doing is working". Then she told us the story. She had given the blanket to her son when she arrived in Ft.Worth. He immediately took off his shirt and wrapped up in the blanket.
All weekend he wore the blanket. On Monday, that's the day we returned, he went back to the doctor for a treatment. The doctors told him there was no cancer in his body! He was healed!!
The Lord told me at the beginning of this year that He was going to turn up the healing anointing in my ministry concerning cancer. Man has He ever. He wants to use us all to see people delivered from Satan's hand. Begin to see yourself praying for people and seeing them set free. Meditate on God's Word concerning what He will do through you.
You must be sure of your ground. You must be sure that there is a power mightier than you that is destroying the Devil. Take your position from the first epistle of John and say, "Greater is he that is in [me], than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4 KJV). If you think the power comes from you, you are making a great mistake. It comes from your being filled with Him, from His acting in the place of you.
