(To Be Prayed for By Wives)
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray and believe that ___________ walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly following their advice, plans, and purposes, nor does he stand submissive and inactive in the path where sinners walk, nor does he sit down to relax and rest where the scornful and the mockers gather. ___________'s delight and desire is in Your Word; and on Your precepts, instructions, and teachings he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.
Because he puts Your Word first place in his life, he is like a tree firmly planted and tended by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also does not fade or wither, and everything he does, including our life together, prospers and comes to maturity. I thank You, Father, that ___________ loves me and that he is affectionate and sympathetic with me. I believe in Jesus' name that he is not harsh or bitter or resentful toward me, because he loves me, in a sense, as his own body.
I praise You that our fountain of human life is blessed with the rewards of fidelity, and he rejoices with me. I am as the loving hind and pleasant doe (tender, gentle, attractive). My bosom satisfies my husband at all times and he is always transported with delight in my love. I rejoice, Father, that because Your Word is working in our marriage, discretion watches over him and understanding keeps him and he is delivered from every alien woman and every outsider with her flattering words. He will never be infatuated with a loose woman, embrace the bosom of an outsider, nor go astray. So be it!
